Despite selling itself as a friend of the Black community, our latest lawsuit alleges McDonald’s has been intentionally setting Black franchisees up for failure. We started this case when 52 different Black former franchisees came to us with stories of corporate mistreatment. We know discrimination amid Black franchise operators was pervasive and that there are more who faced the same economic injustice. Our allegations against McDonald’s include:

  • Giving Black franchisees less favorable locations with low-volume sales and higher operating costs
  • Misleading Black franchisees with false projections
  • Denying financial assistance and growth opportunities to Black franchisees
  • Consistently grading Black-owned franchises more harshly than White-owned franchises

Did you experience these, or similar, acts of illegal discrimination while trying to start or operate a McDonald’s franchise? If so, we want to hear your story. You might be eligible to join our case, where we are asking the company to compensate its Black entrepreneurs for the chances they didn’t receive. Reach out to us any time at (888) 554-2030 to speak with one of our lawyers about this case.
