Allan B. Kaiser has practiced criminal defense litigation and civil litigation since leaving his position of 16 years as Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida in 2003. Mr. Kaiser's civil practice focuses on products liability, tobacco litigation, toxic torts and complex litigation. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Kaiser spent twenty years as both a State and Federal Prosecutor. As an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for four years, in St. Louis County, Missouri, Mr. Kaiser prosecuted major felony cases. Thereafter, for sixteen years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Kaiser prosecuted some of the more high profile corruption and fraud cases in the Southern District of Florida. As well, Mr. Kaiser held various supervisory positions, including Chief of the Major Crimes Division on two separate occasions, and Deputy Chief of the Narcotics Section.

Mr. Kaiser has represented individuals charged with health care related fraud, mortgage fraud, insurance fraud, RICO conspiracy, murder on the high seas and drug and money laundering offenses, in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and other District Courts throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. In addition, Mr. Kaiser has represented individuals in employment related matters, involving retaliatory termination and race and age discrimination.

Mr. Kaiser has tried over 200 criminal and civil jury trials as a Prosecutor and while in private practice. In addition, Mr. Kaiser has written numerous articles on a wide range of topics in both criminal and civil law. Mr. Kaiser has been a frequent lecturer throughout the Country on criminal procedure issues and trial advocacy as well as health care issues.

Mr. Kaiser is a 1982 graduate of Tulane University School of Law, New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a member of both the Florida and Missouri Bar. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Dade County Bar Association, Southern District of Florida Bar Association and Spellman-Hoeveler American Inn of Court.
